إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا وَآثَارَهُمْ ۚ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَاهُ فِي إِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ

بے شک ہم ہی مُردوں کو زندہ کرتے ہیں اور جو کچھ انہوں نے آگے بھیجا اور جو نشانات چھوڑے سب لکھتے ہیں، اور ہر چیز کو ہم نے روشن کتاب میں درج کر رکھا ہے۔

Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have sent ahead and what they left behind — and all things We have enumerated in a clear register.

Surah Yaseen · Ayah 12

وَمَا عَلَيْنَا إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ

اور ہم پر صرف صاف صاف پہنچا دینا ہے۔

And our duty is only clear notification — nothing more is upon us.

Surah Yaseen · Ayah 17

إِنِّي إِذًا لَّفِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ

بے شک تب میں کھلی گمراہی میں ہوں گا۔

Indeed, I would then be in manifest error — far astray from the straight path.

Surah Yaseen · Ayah 24

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ قَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَاءُ اللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ

اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ اللہ نے جو رزق دیا ہے اس میں سے خرچ کرو تو کافر مؤمنوں سے کہتے ہیں: کیا ہم اسے کھلائیں جسے اگر اللہ چاہتا تو خود کھلا دیتا؟ تم تو صریح گمراہی میں ہو۔

And when it is said to them, “Spend from what Allah has provided you,” the disbelievers say to the believers, “Should we feed one whom, if Allah had willed, He would have fed? You are not but in clear error.”

Surah Yaseen · Ayah 47

أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَا بَنِي آدَمَ أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوا الشَّيْطَانَ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ

کیا میں نے تم سے عہد نہ لیا تھا اے اولادِ آدم کہ شیطان کی عبادت نہ کرو، بے شک وہ تمہارا کھلا دشمن ہے۔

Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan — for indeed, he is to you a clear enemy?

Surah Yaseen · Ayah 60

وَمَا عَلَّمْنَاهُ الشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْآنٌ مُّبِينٌ

اور ہم نے اسے شعر نہیں سکھایا اور نہ یہ اس کے شایانِ شان ہے، یہ تو بس نصیحت اور روشن قرآن ہے۔

And We did not teach him poetry, nor is it befitting for him. It is not but a reminder and a clear Quran.

Surah Yaseen · Ayah 69

أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الْإِنسَانُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ

کیا انسان نے نہ دیکھا کہ ہم نے اسے نطفے سے پیدا کیا، پھر وہ کھلا جھگڑالو بن گیا۔

Does man not consider that We created him from a mere drop — yet at once he becomes a clear adversary?

Another misconception about this practice is that stopping on every verse is compulsory for Muslims. Because of this misunderstanding, some believers take it seriously and act according to the idea that this practice is compulsory, but in reality, this is a practice that can have an impact on our lives. The main purpose of reciting Surah Yaseen is to ask for guidance, increase faith in Allah, and strengthen the relationship between the Creator and believers.
