سورۃ یٰسٓ — Surah Yaseen
بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ شروع اللہ کے نام سے جو نہایت مہربان رحم والا ہے In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful سورۃ یٰسٓ
1
يس
یٰسٓ
Ya-Sin
2
وَالْقُرْآنِ الْحَكِيمِ
قسم ہے قرآن کی جو حکمت سے بھرا ہوا ہے
By the Wise Qur’an
3
إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
بے شک آپ رسولوں میں سے ہیں
Indeed, you are among the messengers
4
عَلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
سیدھے راستے پر
On a straight path
5
تَنزِيلَ الْعَزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ
یہ غالب اور رحم کرنے والے کی نازل کردہ ہے
Revelation of the Almighty, the Merciful
6
لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّا أُنذِرَ آبَاؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَافِلُونَ
تاکہ تم ایسے لوگوں کو ڈراؤ جن کے باپ دادا کو نہیں ڈرایا گیا
To warn a people whose forefathers were not warned
7
لَقَدْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَىٰ أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
ان میں سے اکثر پر بات ثابت ہو چکی ہے
The word has come into effect upon most of them
8
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ أَغْلَالًا فَهِيَ إِلَى ٱلْأَذْقَانِ فَهُمْ مُّقْمَحُونَ
ہم نے ان کی گردنوں میں طوق ڈال دیے ہیں جو ٹھوڑیوں تک ہیں
We have placed shackles upon their necks up to their chins
9
وَجَعَلْنَا مِن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ
اور ہم نے ان کے آگے اور پیچھے دیوار بنا دی ہے
We placed barriers before and behind them so they cannot see
10
وَسَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
اور ان پر برابر ہے تم انہیں ڈراؤ یا نہ ڈراؤ
It is the same whether you warn them or not
11
إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَخَشِيَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَأَجْرٍ كَرِيمٍ
تم صرف اسی کو ڈرا سکتے ہو جو نصیحت کی پیروی کرے اور بن دیکھے رحمٰن سے ڈرے
You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen
12
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا وَآثَارَهُمْ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَاهُ فِي إِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ
بے شک ہم ہی مردوں کو زندہ کرتے ہیں اور جو کچھ انہوں نے آگے بھیجا اور ان کے آثار ہم لکھتے ہیں
Indeed, We give life to the dead and record what they have put forth and what they left behind
13
وَاضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصْحَابَ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَاءَهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
اور ان کے لیے بستی والوں کی مثال بیان کرو جب ان کے پاس رسول آئے
And present to them the example of the people of the city
14
إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمُ ٱثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ
جب ہم نے ان کی طرف دو بھیجے تو انہوں نے جھٹلایا پھر ہم نے تیسرے سے مدد دی
When We sent to them two, but they denied them, so We strengthened them with a third
15
قَالُوا مَا أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَا أَنزَلَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ مِن شَيْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا تَكْذِبُونَ
انہوں نے کہا تم تو ہمارے جیسے بشر ہو اور رحمٰن نے کچھ نازل نہیں کیا
They said, “You are not but human beings like us”
16
قَالُوا رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّا إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ
انہوں نے کہا ہمارا رب جانتا ہے کہ ہم تمہاری طرف بھیجے گئے ہیں
They said, “Our Lord knows that we are messengers to you”
17
وَمَا عَلَيْنَا إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَاغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
اور ہمارے ذمہ تو صاف پیغام پہنچانا ہے
And we are not responsible except for clear delivery
18
قَالُوا إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُوا لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
انہوں نے کہا ہم تمہیں منحوس سمجھتے ہیں اگر تم باز نہ آئے تو ہم تمہیں سنگسار کریں گے
They said, “Indeed, we consider you a bad omen. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you”
19
قَالُوا طَائِرُكُم مَّعَكُمْ أَئِن ذُكِّرْتُم بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ
انہوں نے کہا تمہاری نحوست تمہارے ساتھ ہے بلکہ تم حد سے بڑھنے والے لوگ ہو
They said, “Your omen is with yourselves. Rather, you are a transgressing people”
20
وَجَاءَ مِنْ أَقْصَا ٱلْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلٌ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ ٱتَّبِعُوا ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
اور شہر کے دور سے ایک آدمی دوڑتا ہوا آیا اور کہا اے میری قوم رسولوں کی پیروی کرو
And there came from the farthest end of the city a man running. He said, “O my people, follow the messengers”
21
ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَن لَّا يَسْـَٔلُكُمْ أَجْرًۭا وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ
ان لوگوں کی پیروی کرو جو تم سے کوئی اجر نہیں مانگتے اور وہ ہدایت یافتہ ہیں
Follow those who do not ask of you any payment, and they are rightly guided
22
وَمَا لِىَ لَآ أَعْبُدُ ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنِى وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
اور مجھے کیا ہوا ہے کہ میں اس کی عبادت نہ کروں جس نے مجھے پیدا کیا
And why should I not worship He who created me and to whom you will be returned
23
ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ بِضُرٍّۢ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّى شَفَـٰعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يُنقِذُونِ
کیا میں اس کے سوا اور معبود بنا لوں، اگر رحمٰن مجھے نقصان پہنچانا چاہے تو ان کی شفاعت مجھے کچھ فائدہ نہیں دے سکتی
Should I take other than Him false deities? If the Most Merciful intends me harm, their intercession will not avail me
24
إِنِّىٓ إِذًۭا لَّفِى ضَلَـٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍ
بے شک میں اس وقت کھلی گمراہی میں ہوں گا
Indeed, I would then be in clear error
25
إِنِّىٓ ءَامَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَٱسْمَعُونِ
بے شک میں تمہارے رب پر ایمان لے آیا ہوں پس میری بات سنو
Indeed, I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me
26
قِيلَ ٱدْخُلِ ٱلْجَنَّةَ ۖ قَالَ يَـٰلَيْتَ قَوْمِى يَعْلَمُونَ
کہا گیا جنت میں داخل ہو جاؤ اس نے کہا کاش میری قوم جان لیتی
It was said, “Enter Paradise.” He said, “I wish my people could know”
27
بِمَا غَفَرَ لِى رَبِّى وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ
کہ میرے رب نے مجھے بخش دیا اور مجھے عزت والوں میں شامل کر دیا
Of how my Lord has forgiven me and made me among the honored
28
وَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ مِن جُندٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَ
اور ہم نے اس کے بعد اس کی قوم پر آسمان سے کوئی لشکر نہیں اتارا
And We did not send down upon his people after him any soldiers from the heaven
29
إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٱحِدَةًۭ فَإِذَا هُمْ خَـٰمِدُونَ
وہ تو صرف ایک زور کی آواز تھی پھر وہ سب بجھ کر رہ گئے
It was not but one shout, and immediately they were extinguished
30
يَـٰحَسْرَةً عَلَى ٱلْعِبَادِ ۚ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
ہائے افسوس ان بندوں پر ان کے پاس جو بھی رسول آیا وہ اس کا مذاق اڑاتے رہے
How regretful for the servants. There did not come to them any messenger except that they used to ridicule him
31
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ
کیا انہوں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ ہم نے ان سے پہلے کتنی قومیں ہلاک کر دیں
Have they not seen how many generations We destroyed before them
32
وَإِن كُلٌّۭ لَّمَّا جَمِيعٌۭ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
اور سب کے سب ہمارے سامنے حاضر کیے جائیں گے
And indeed, all of them will be brought present before Us
33
وَءَايَةٌۭ لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَـٰهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّۭا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَ
اور ان کے لیے ایک نشانی مردہ زمین ہے ہم نے اسے زندہ کیا اور اس سے دانہ نکالا
And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain
34
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّـٰتٍۢ مِّن نَّخِيلٍۢ وَأَعْنَـٰبٍۢ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْعُيُونِ
اور ہم نے اس میں کھجوروں اور انگوروں کے باغ بنائے اور اس میں چشمے جاری کیے
And We placed therein gardens of palm trees and grapevines and caused to gush forth therein some springs
35
لِيَأْكُلُوا۟ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
تاکہ وہ اس کے پھل کھائیں حالانکہ یہ ان کے ہاتھوں کا بنایا ہوا نہیں تو کیا وہ شکر نہیں کرتے
That they may eat of His fruit. So will they not be grateful
36
سُبْحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَزْوَٟجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنبِتُ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
پاک ہے وہ جس نے سب جوڑے پیدا کیے زمین کی پیداوار میں سے اور ان کے اپنے نفسوں میں سے
Exalted is He who created all pairs from what the earth grows and from themselves
37
وَءَايَةٌۭ لَّهُمُ ٱلَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ
اور ان کے لیے ایک نشانی رات ہے ہم اس سے دن کو نکال لیتے ہیں تو وہ اندھیرے میں رہ جاتے ہیں
And a sign for them is the night. We remove from it the day, and they are left in darkness
38
وَٱلشَّمْسُ تَجْرِى لِمُسْتَقَرٍّۢ لَّهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ
اور سورج اپنے ٹھہرنے کی جگہ کی طرف چلتا ہے یہ غالب اور علم والے کا مقرر کیا ہوا نظام ہے
And the sun runs toward its stopping point. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing
39
وَٱلْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَـٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ ٱلْقَدِيمِ
اور چاند کے لیے ہم نے منزلیں مقرر کیں یہاں تک کہ وہ پرانی کھجور کی شاخ کی مانند ہو جاتا ہے
And the moon—We have determined for it phases, until it returns like the old date stalk
40
لَا ٱلشَّمْسُ يَنبَغِى لَهَآ أَن تُدْرِكَ ٱلْقَمَرَ وَلَا ٱلَّيْلُ سَابِقُ ٱلنَّهَارِ ۚ وَكُلٌّۭ فِى فَلَكٍۢ يَسْبَحُونَ
نہ سورج کے لیے ممکن ہے کہ وہ چاند کو جا لے اور سب اپنے اپنے مدار میں تیر رہے ہیں
It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, but each in an orbit is swimming
41
وَءَايَةٌۭ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ
اور ان کے لیے ایک نشانی یہ ہے کہ ہم نے ان کی نسل کو بھری ہوئی کشتی میں سوار کیا
And a sign for them is that We carried their forefathers in a laden ship
42
وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثْلِهِۦ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ
اور ہم نے ان کے لیے اسی جیسی اور چیزیں پیدا کیں جن پر وہ سوار ہوتے ہیں
And We created for them similar things on which they ride
43
وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ
اور اگر ہم چاہیں تو انہیں غرق کر دیں پھر نہ کوئی ان کی فریاد کو پہنچے گا اور نہ وہ بچائے جائیں گے
And if We will, We can drown them, and no one will respond to their cry, nor will they be saved
44
إِلَّا رَحْمَةًۭ مِّنَّا وَمَتَـٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍۢ
مگر ہماری رحمت اور ایک مقررہ وقت تک فائدہ پہنچانے کے لیے
Except by mercy from Us and provision for a time
45
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ اپنے آگے اور پیچھے سے ڈرو تاکہ تم پر رحم کیا جائے
And when it is said to them, “Fear what is before you and what is behind you that you may receive mercy”
46
وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَةٍۢ مِّنْ ءَايَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
اور ان کے پاس ان کے رب کی کوئی نشانی نہیں آتی مگر وہ اس سے منہ پھیر لیتے ہیں
And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord except that they turn away from it
47
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُۥٓ
اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ اللہ کے دیے ہوئے رزق میں سے خرچ کرو تو کافر کہتے ہیں کیا ہم اسے کھلائیں جسے اللہ چاہتا تو خود کھلا دیتا
And when it is said to them, “Spend from what Allah has provided,” those who disbelieve say, “Should we feed one whom Allah could feed if He willed?”
48
إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَـٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ
تم تو صرف کھلی گمراہی میں ہو
You are not but in clear error
49
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
اور وہ کہتے ہیں یہ وعدہ کب پورا ہوگا اگر تم سچے ہو
And they say, “When is this promise, if you should be truthful?”
50
مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ
وہ صرف ایک زور دار آواز کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں جو انہیں پکڑ لے گی جب وہ آپس میں جھگڑ رہے ہوں گے
They wait not except for one blast which will seize them while they are disputing
51
وَنُفِخَ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَ
اور صور پھونکا جائے گا تو وہ قبروں سے اپنے رب کی طرف دوڑیں گے
And the Horn will be blown, and at once from the graves to their Lord they will hasten
52
قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا مَن بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرْقَدِنَا ۜ هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وَصَدَقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
وہ کہیں گے ہائے ہماری بدبختی! ہمیں ہماری خواب گاہ سے کس نے اٹھایا؟
They will say, “Woe to us! Who has raised us from our place of sleep?” This is what the Most Merciful had promised
53
إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
وہ تو صرف ایک ہی زور دار آواز ہوگی اور پھر وہ سب ہمارے سامنے حاضر کر دیے جائیں گے
It will be but one blast, and at once they will all be brought before Us
54
فَالْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْئًا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
پس آج کسی پر ظلم نہیں کیا جائے گا اور تمہیں وہی بدلہ دیا جائے گا جو تم کرتے رہے ہو
So today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will only be recompensed for what you used to do
55
إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلْيَوْمَ فِي شُغُلٍ فَاكِهُونَ
بے شک جنت والے آج خوشیوں میں مشغول ہوں گے
Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be busy in enjoyment
56
هُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُهُمْ فِي ظِلَالٍ عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ مُتَّكِئُونَ
وہ اور ان کی بیویاں سایوں میں تختوں پر تکیہ لگائے بیٹھے ہوں گے
They and their spouses, in shade, reclining on adorned couches
57
لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَ
ان کے لیے وہاں ہر قسم کے پھل ہوں گے اور جو وہ چاہیں گے
For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request
58
سَلَامٌ قَوْلًا مِّن رَّبٍّ رَّحِيمٍ
سلام ہوگا مہربان رب کی طرف سے
“Peace,” a word from a Merciful Lord
59
وَامْتَازُوا ٱلْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
اور آج تم مجرموں! الگ ہو جاؤ
But stand apart today, you criminals
60
أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَا بَنِي آدَمَ أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوا الشَّيْطَانَ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
اے بنی آدم! کیا میں نے تم سے عہد نہیں لیا تھا کہ شیطان کی عبادت نہ کرو؟ بے شک وہ تمہارا کھلا دشمن ہے
Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, not to worship Satan? Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy
61
وَأَنِ ٱعْبُدُونِي ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
اور یہ کہ میری ہی عبادت کرو، یہی سیدھا راستہ ہے
And that you worship Me. This is a straight path
62
وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثِيرًا ۖ أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا تَعْقِلُونَ
اور اس نے تم میں سے بہت ساری مخلوق کو گمراہ کر دیا، کیا تم سمجھتے نہ تھے؟
And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason?
63
هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
یہی جہنم ہے جس کا تم سے وعدہ کیا جاتا تھا
This is the Hellfire which you were promised
64
ٱصْلَوْهَا ٱلْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
آج اس میں داخل ہو جاؤ، اس کفر کی وجہ سے جو تم کرتے رہے تھے
Burn therein today for what you used to disbelieve
65
ٱلْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
آج ہم ان کے منہ پر مہر لگا دیں گے اور ان کے ہاتھ ہم سے بات کریں گے اور ان کے پاؤں گواہی دیں گے
Today We will seal their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify
66
وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَٱسْتَبَقُوا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ
اور اگر ہم چاہیں تو ان کی آنکھیں مٹا دیں، پھر وہ راستے کی طرف دوڑیں تو کیسے دیکھ سکیں گے؟
And if We willed, We could obliterate their eyes, and they would race to the path, but how would they see?
67
وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَمَسَخْنَٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا ٱسْتَطَٰعُوا مُضِيًّا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ
اور اگر ہم چاہیں تو انہیں ان کی جگہ ہی مسخ کر دیں، پھر نہ وہ آگے جا سکیں گے اور نہ پیچھے لوٹ سکیں گے
And if We willed, We could transform them in their places, and they would not be able to proceed nor return
68
وَمَن نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِي ٱلْخَلْقِ ۖ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ
اور جسے ہم لمبی عمر دیتے ہیں، اسے تخلیق میں الٹا کر دیتے ہیں، کیا وہ نہیں سمجھتے؟
And he to whom We grant long life We reverse in creation; so will they not understand?
69
وَمَا عَلَّمْنَٰهُ ٱلشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْآنٌ مُّبِينٌ
اور ہم نے اسے شعر نہیں سکھایا اور نہ یہ اس کے لائق ہے، یہ تو صرف نصیحت اور واضح قرآن ہے
And We did not teach him poetry, nor is it befitting for him. It is only a reminder and a clear Qur’an
70
لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيًّا وَيَحِقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
تاکہ وہ اسے ڈرائے جو زندہ دل ہو اور کافروں پر بات ثابت ہو جائے
To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers
71
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَا أَنْعَامًا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَالِكُونَ
کیا انہوں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ ہم نے اپنے ہاتھوں کی بنائی ہوئی چیزوں میں سے ان کے لیے چوپائے پیدا کیے
Do they not see that We created for them from what Our hands have made, livestock, and they are their owners?
72
وَذَلَّلْنَاهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ
اور ہم نے انہیں ان کے لیے تابع کر دیا، ان میں سے بعض پر وہ سواری کرتے ہیں اور بعض کو کھاتے ہیں
And We have subdued them for them, so some of them they ride and some of them they eat
73
وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
اور ان میں ان کے لیے فائدے اور مشروبات ہیں، کیا وہ شکر ادا نہیں کرتے؟
And for them therein are benefits and drinks, so will they not be grateful?
74
وَاتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
اور انہوں نے اللہ کے سوا معبود بنا لیے تاکہ انہیں مدد ملے
But they have taken besides Allah gods that perhaps they may be helped
75
لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌ مُّحْضَرُونَ
وہ ان کی مدد نہیں کر سکتے اور وہ خود ان کے لیے حاضر کیے گئے لشکر ہیں
They are not able to help them, and they themselves are soldiers brought forth for them
76
فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ
پس ان کی باتیں آپ کو غمگین نہ کریں، بے شک ہم جانتے ہیں جو وہ چھپاتے اور ظاہر کرتے ہیں
So do not be saddened by their speech. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare
77
أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلْإِنسَانُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ
کیا انسان نے نہیں دیکھا کہ ہم نے اسے نطفے سے پیدا کیا، پھر وہ کھلا جھگڑالو بن گیا
Does man not see that We created him from a sperm-drop, then at once he is a clear adversary?
78
وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَنَسِيَ خَلْقَهُ ۖ قَالَ مَن يُحْيِي الْعِظَامَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمٌ
اور اس نے ہمارے لیے مثال بیان کی اور اپنی پیدائش بھول گیا، کہتا ہے کون ہڈیوں کو زندہ کرے گا؟
And he presents for Us an example and forgets his own creation. He says, “Who will give life to bones when they are disintegrated?”
79
قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَهَآ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ
کہہ دو: انہیں وہی زندہ کرے گا جس نے انہیں پہلی بار پیدا کیا تھا، اور وہ ہر تخلیق کو جاننے والا ہے
Say, “He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is Knowing of every creation”
80
ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ ٱلْأَخْضَرِ نَارًا فَإِذَآ أَنتُم مِّنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ
وہی ہے جس نے تمہارے لیے ہرے درخت سے آگ پیدا کی، پھر تم اس سے آگ روشن کرتے ہو
He who made for you from the green tree fire, and then from it you ignite
81
أَوَلَيْسَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِقَـٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُم ۚ بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ ٱلْخَلَّـٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
کیا وہ جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو پیدا کیا اس بات پر قادر نہیں؟ کیوں نہیں! اور وہی سب سے بڑا پیدا کرنے والا ہے
Is not He who created the heavens and the earth able to create the likes of them? Yes! And He is the Supreme Creator, the All-Knowing
82
إِنَّمَآ أَمْرُهُۥٓ إِذَآ أَرَادَ شَيْـًٔا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ
اس کا حکم تو یہ ہے کہ جب وہ کسی چیز کا ارادہ کرتا ہے تو اسے کہتا ہے “ہو جا” تو وہ فوراً ہو جاتی ہے
His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, “Be,” and it is
83
فَسُبْحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِي بِيَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
پس پاک ہے وہ ذات جس کے ہاتھ میں ہر چیز کی بادشاہی ہے اور تم اسی کی طرف لوٹائے جاؤ گے
So exalted is He in whose hand is the dominion of all things, and to Him you will be returned
